The flight lasts 45 minutes and leaves Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 11 am from the Tobias Bolaños International Airport in San Jose. The return is on the same day at 2 pm from the José Ezequiel Hall International Airport in Bocas del Toro.

If you choose to travel by road, our recommendation is that it be through a ground transportation company specialized in offering the service from San José or Puerto Viejo to Bocas. During the trip, you will head east from San José to the city of Limón. Then you go down the coast of the Caribbean Sea to the border town of Sixaola.
